Located in Blandford Forums premier market town centre the Sleek and Chic Salon opened in 1990 by Jacqueline Walker and quickly established its status as the towns leading hair salon, now run by Ana’ Stasis Salons Ltd.

Sleek and Chic is now directed by Ana’ Stasis himself. The salon team continues to go from strength to strength, our hairdressers are proud to provide Blandford Forum with outstanding, beautiful hair treatments and services in styling and colouring.

Award winning Sleek and Chic Hair Design is looking for experienced Stylists for our flagship Blandford Forum salon

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and talented hair stylist to join the hairdressing team at our Premier award winning Salon.

We are looking for:

A fully qualified hairdresser, either on an employed basis or self-employed contract, who can grow a loyal clientele base, maintain a busy column, and improve performance on an ongoing basis.

We are looking for someone who can work unsupervised and mentor less experienced members of the team.

As an experienced hair stylist, you will be providing services to clients as follows:

Cutting and blow-drying hair
Hair colouring
Highlighting
Balayage, Ombre, Colouring etc.
All other services normally associated with a busy hairdressing salon
The person we are looking for will:

Be fully qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing
At least 1 year of experience managing a column.
Have at least 1 years hair stylist (not including any Junior hair stylist roles)
Be well presented and have good communication skills
Have a real desire to be part of the team and grow with us
Be willing to work some late nights and weekends.
We are looking for creative and passionate people with a passion for excellent customer service along with a previous track record of working in-salon as a hair stylist.

SENIOR HAIR STYLIST DUTIES

Cutting, colouring and styling ladies and mens hair
Maintaining excellent customer service to ensure high level of repeat clientele
Ensure high customer satisfaction to grow your clientele
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Strong experience cutting and colouring
Great customer service skills, presentation
Ability to build repeat clientele
Be a UK resident
Good spoken english
Positive attitude.

A keen interest in Hair, Beauty and Fashion.

Passionate about being creative.

1 year’s salon floor experience.

Complete ownership of tasks

Independence in creating beautiful hair
