Senior Stylist / Salon Manager – EMB Hair Salon

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Stylist / Salon Manager to join and lead our growing team at EMB Hair Salon.

EMB is an Afro-centric salon, rooted in healthy hair care for textured hair — including Afro, curly, and coily hair — while also welcoming and serving clients of all hair types. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand that prioritises education, hair health, and excellence in textured hair care.

This dual-role position combines hands-on styling expertise with day-to-day salon management, ideal for someone who is both creative and organised, and ready to grow with a purpose-driven salon.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality hair services with a strong focus on textured and Afro hair care
Oversee daily salon operations and ensure smooth running of appointments
Lead, support, and develop junior staff
Maintain exceptional client experience and service standards
Support the growth and vision of an Afro-centric, inclusive salon

Requirements:
Minimum Level 2 Hairdressing Qualification (Level 3 or willingness to progress is highly desirable)
Strong experience working with Afro, curly, and coily hair textures
Ability to work confidently across all hair types
Skilled in treatments, styling, maintenance services. Creative styling skills such as braiding, locs maintenance desirable.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
